Detailed Job Description:
Looking for a skilled engineering technician with the proven ability to build up prototype circuits, troubleshoot problems and assist Engineers with new Videophone development and testing/debug. The right candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced, strong team environment, thrive under pressure, will care about root cause of problems, and will be able to work with minimal supervision. Qualifications: - Excellent board build-up/repair RoHS soldering/desoldering skills using microscope
- Experience and knowledge in building-up prototype circuits from schematics and interpreting schematics and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with IPC610 required, IPC610 certification a plus.
- Experienced in test and troubleshooting of problems with minimal direction.
- EMI/ESD Test and data logging experience desired.
- Prototype kitting and assembly. Parts ordering and tracking. Database entry.
- PCB layout/schematic capture using OrCAD Capture CIS and Allegro is a definite plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Detailed Job Description: - Review and manage all state and local transactional taxes and regulation based fees including taxes and fees for sales, use, property, escheat, excise and telecommunications related liabilities to ensure the utmost accuracy, completeness and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with Federal, state and local taxes and telecommunication regulatory liabilities and reporting
- Manage all related state, local and telecommunication regulatory audits
- Manage, review and reconcile all related general ledger tax accounts, including tax expense, accruals, billing, collections and payments
- Stay abreast of all tax or telecommunication regulatory law changes
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Coordinate all tax planning and compliance matters
- Effectively communicate all tax issues and opportunities
- Provide hands-on leadership to Finance to ensure complete and accurate preparation, completion and timely filing, of all tax returns and telecommunication regulatory filing responsibilities
- Manage the gathering, maintaining, application and issuance of exemption certificates
- Manage all state and local tax and regulatory notices and requests from state authorities
- Manage and/or work on multiple and varied tax projects
- Assist with income and franchise tax issues and reporting when necessary

Qualifications: - BA/BS in Accounting required
- Master in Accounting or Tax preferred
- Must have CPA certification
- 7-10 years combined Big Four Public Tax and industry corporate tax experience including state and local transactional taxes and regulation based fees including taxes and fees for sales, use, property, escheat, excise and other telecommunications related liabilities
- Thorough and complete technical sales, use, property, escheat, excise and telecommunications related tax and regulatory knowledge
- Thorough and complete ability to conduct tax research on critical issues and stay abreast of tax and regulatory law changes
- Experience with state and local tax or regulatory audits
- Strong comprehension of general accounting principles
- Strong telecommunications industry experience is a necessity
- Proficient in MS Office
- Expert with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Proficient with tax research web based platforms (e.g. CCH, RIA)
